The farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop.
Judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this. Do not speak against one another, brothers and sisters. A double-minded person is unstable in all they do. Do not grumble against one another. Every good and perfect gift is from above. Faith is demonstrated through actions. Faith without works is dead. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God. Perseverance must finish its work. The rich will fade away even while they go about their business. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. The Lord's coming is near. The rich should take pride in their humiliation. You do not have because you do not ask. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials. The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure. Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that. The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well. |
