The Siamese–Vietnamese conflicts were a series of wars and military confrontations between the kingdoms of Siam (Thailand) and Vietnam, fought over regional dominance in mainland Southeast Asia, particularly in Cambodia and Laos, from the 17th to 19th centuries.
