The Ipperwash Crisis was a 1995 land dispute and standoff in Ontario between members of the Kettle and Stony Point First Nation and the provincial government and police over the occupation of Ipperwash Provincial Park, which resulted in the fatal shooting of Indigenous protester Dudley George.
